To prepare for an enjoyable bonfire with sweets and such, I was wondering if anybody here would be willing to share any scary stories whether they be True or not, made up or even told through generations.

Thanks you

Talking about scary stories! I have read this Chinese popular horror story (based on true story/legend) and translated it, wondering if I should give it to Creepypasta or not, but I don't know yet.

Here~....

A couple had always been fighting ever since they got married and had a child. The child was especially close to the mother, but the husband didn't seem to care. They fought every day, every night, and as the child grew, the relationship between the couple got worse.
Finally, one day when the child was off to school, the fight grew so wild that the husband picked up a kitchen knife and stabbed it right into the wife's heart.
Panicked by his murder, he quickly hid the body away far into the mountains. The wife's incident had been marked as disappearance ever since, and the husband and child continued with their lives, as if it never happened.
Yet, the husband was curious, his child had not asked a single question about his mother's disappearance, even though they were so close before. Finally, one day he could not hold his curiosity any longer. Calling his child over, he asked:
"My son, have you never wondered about your mother's disappearance?"
His child seemed to be confused by the question. Inclining his head he replied,
"What are you talking about, father?" He blinked and continued:

"Aren't you always carrying her on your back?"
