So Um...Just some feelings about my stories ;w; (8)

1 Name: Nya : 2014-03-19 22:30 ID:wlSn13f2 [Del]

Okay so um
Yes, of course writing stories is for my own hobby and interest...I'm having 2 problems here. ;_;

1. EVEN THOUGH MY BRAIN PLANNED OUT LIKE NEARLY WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN AND STUFFS, MY BEST RECORD IS WRITE UP TO THE FOURTH CHAPTER.
And most of them only last to a chapter 1
This is exactly it, I lack the enthusiasm and the will to continue! Q口Q *extreme disappointment in self* And many times I just feel like I'm starting to write some really off stuffs, then I get a brainfreeze, and the brainfreeze usually just....Make me stop writing my stories. OTZ Yeah. This is a problem, I don't even know if there is a solution.

2. Yes, I know most of you will say that writing stories are not about others but for yourself, but sometimes when I post it (...For the sake of...Posting it), and usually after a few days when I remembered to check the site again I realize that there is only little viewers, or people do view it and just leave, ya know, not a follower or favorite, or like most of them didn't read the second chapter, and it's just really dis-encouraging ;w; (I know I may be overreacting but) I just become like "Is my story really that boring ;w; Really that not interesting ;w;" and then I will realize that it will get more interesting afterward just go on! But eventually I lose enthusiasm for it *suks*
The thing is, for me who read both manga and novels, my stories are usually sided toward manga-feels...Like I don't know, I write all kinds of stories, really, from romance to fantasy to sci-fiction to angst etc. And then I realize that the setting may be boring to the readers, and then I lose confidence in myself again. *sigh*
Yeah, I don't know if I'm supposed to be here to complain or not, I don't even know my purpose for posting this but ya, letting my feelings out meh

And my friends who happened to read the story many times say that it's too complicated and intense. But the thing is...I'm not all that good in comedy. Q_Q I like angst after all, and intense stories so Q_Q And it's just like waaaa =3= //slap self (u here to complain or what! said myself to myself)

I have the same problem since I start writing some...you know, stupid stories for myself... But I realize there are some stories that only worth to make you grow up as a writer.
I didn't continue a lot of projects I just thought were good ideas, but a few days later, I lost all interest on them.
Even saying these things....I've encountered some kind of styles of writing that may help me along my ideas, too some ways of thinking 'bout the world.
I'm now proud of some poems I've made for myself or for some other people, and I can say maybe your ideas are not focus on what you really wanna write at the right moment.
I understand your feelings and can say you can count on me.

My name as you can see's Akira Yuu, but you can name as Ice

I've had the same experiences, and it really was a let down. But then I learned, if you want to keep progressing, you shouldn't be mindful of how many people read your stories, the important thing is that you enjoy writing them and before you know it, a lot of people will come and read your stories. To keep yourself from stopping in the middle, I learned from another person that if you're going to write something you should try not go over and over your stories, just keep writing and writing, nevermind the typos or the spelling. Just go and check it back again when you're contented or finished with your story. And also, try to concentrate on one story at a time since it's hard to continue one project when you already got so many of them. That's all, I hope I got to help you. ^_^

>>4 he/she's right you know :D

just keep on writing, in time you will get better. also, i did post one of my story, to be acurate fanfic before i had few views and no comments. i finally decided to abandon it and leave it alone. after a year or two, i revisited the site and decided to log in just to see if my account was still valid. i was shocked to see that i have thousands of readers and a few comment asking me to continue with the story.. in short, it takes time for your work to be discovered so unless you already built a reputation, you can't expect a huge number of reads in a week
also, try to finish the story but don't force it because good ideas sometimes take time. it's best if you edit you work only after you did something other than writing because it means your mind would be more relax and you can edit it better.
Keep reading, you can't write better if you don't read other stories and works because you'll limiting yourself

Also, when you conceive a new plot idea, wait at least three weeks before you begin to write. If your enthusiasm for the concept has lasted so long, you'll find yourself able to write more on it, and for longer.
