Story Idea Suggestions (10)

Guys, I need a quick answer. I would like to start drawing a comic or writing a story: it depends on how much I'll improve my art skills. s
The plot I had in mind is about a young woman, an hachikkomori, who decides to commit suicide after realizing that she has no purpose in life, despite she hadn't an horrible condition: she was just bored and tired to feel invisible. But Death punishes her: she acted with to much selfishness and she is now forced to live as an invisible ghost. To being able to reach the Paradise she'll have to sincerely understand and regret what she did (killing herself) by saving other people who want to commit suicide.

Day after day she'll learn how much life is worth living.

Do you think it's good enough? Any suggestions? I've never wrote a story, or drawn a comic, this would be my first...

This reminds me of something..blah. It'll come to me. But this sounds like a good story/comic idea. :)

>>2 Thanks! ;u;
I've wrote this also in the Random board but they told me this is the right board.
How come that no one else is answering? @___@ I'd really appreciate different feedbacks!

It sounds like a good plot. I've seen similar stories, of people dying (in many ways) and having to save people. I read this one manga where the protagonist had to prevent people from going to hell by acting as their lawyer. Something something judgement.

It sounds good. I would love to read it if it comes through, be it book or manga (I love both). I've always liked stories like these.

I'd like to know how she'd be able to save people as an invisible person~

>>4 I was thinking about two different situations. :3

1: She is invisible, but people can still hear her. Maybe she would be that "voice" that prevents people from having the worst thoughts.

2: If I actually manage to draw a manga, I could try to make fight scenes. Maybe the she-ghost would be invisible to humans but totally visible to the Demons, those who lead people to the choice of suicide. Maybe fight scenes? *^*

I think I'm dreaming a bit too much. XD

The story of a man who dies and awakes in his memories. He lives through his memories, aware that they are such, yet his subtle deviations from his memories erases key people from his mind (ie: staying home from school a certain day keeps him from meeting his best friend). By the end of the book, he is a grown man. Despite all his efforts to stick to the script of his life, he finds that he has forgotten all but the fact that his actions led to this. As it turns out he is actually in a coma, and his decision to kill himself in the comatose world ultimately ends his life in the real one.

>>6 It sounds cool but it's a bit far away from what I was thinking... I don't think i would be able to well characterize a male character and his whole life, i would be my very first attempt in a long story and I'm not ready TTwTT"
>>7 I can't help you, sorry :( also, i don't think that the thread i created is useful enough to help you, i asked for help but i didn't actually meant to help someone else on a different topic, I'm again sorry D:
>>8 Thanks for the feedback! ;u;

I've started to write the general skeleton of the story, but I'm stuck on the characterization of the protagonist. D: I have the idea in my mind but it's hard to put it on paper! D:

It seems like an interesting idea. Personally, it sounds to me like the pacing would lend itself better to manga (make sure it doesn't get too slow), but if you don't find yourself to be a skilled artist, you could still team up with an artist or write it in novel form, depending on other feedback you receive (I mean, I'm just one opinion). How far have you developed your story?
