Hi. eue I'm Jennette McCurdy. Just wanted to say, my career has been going great. Like, really.

I also wanted to say I'm not Jennette McCurdy. If you thought I was, go eat a hot dog. Anyways.

Like many here, I just wanted some feedback on a story I'm writing. So there.

Tittle: Geek Girl

Summary: Mary Hudgens is not your typical sixteen year old girl. At least, not where she lives. Too pale, too tall. Too drab, too geeky. Just the complete opposite of every girl that a guy wants. But Mary doesn't care, because when she comes home from school, her love story is ready to continue.

Sort of.

Mary is firmly interested in the wonderful, digital world of dating simulations. Games created by the people, for the people. Where anyone can have a date with just the click of a button. Of course, it's not real. It's all imaginary. But Mary needs something to keep her entertained, so why not?

It isn't when a handsome new boy arrives at her school, her childhood friend suddenly confesses, and the cute college student that works at the video game shop tries to get to know her some more that the dedicated obsession with love and virtual hunks seems to slowly fade away. Will Mary choose a real boy, or is her heart only focused on the game of love?

Sample: Mary bent over to pick up the white controller from the ground. She looked at it for a second, just to make sure it wasn't broken or something, and walked back to the bean bag she'd set in front of her TV. Johnson, with shiny blonde hair sticking in multiple directions, and violet eyes that had a glossy effect painted over them, was smiling on the screen, blushing redder than a Mary in Cuba.

"God," she groaned, "God. Why can't you be real?" She frowned and looked up to the posters surrounding her, "Why can't any of you be real?" Breathing a sigh, she focused back on the television and pressed the X button on her control. With that, golden letters in front of a purple background appeared, reading 'CONGRATULATIONS! YOU ACHIEVED A HAPPY ENDING!' Mary rolled her eyes and turned off the game station. She switched off the TV, put her control away, stood up, and walked out of her room. In her head, she congratulated herself for not tripping over anything.

This might get more attention in The Writers' Thread, if attention is that which you desire.
