The Night Circus is a fantasy romance novel written by Erin Morgenstern. It is about two illusionists who have been taught by very different instructors that are forced to be in a competition with each other. Celia Bowen has been taught by her father, Prospero the Enchanter who teaches her to use her to use her magical abilities using her mind and to create transformations. Marco has been taught by Mr. A.H-. who took him in as an orphan and taught him to use illusions that can only exist in the beholder. Their playing field is a circus, one that only opens at sunset and is there all through the night. This circus appears from city to city unannounced. It is called Le Cirque des Reves or the Night Circus. It is covered in black and white all over and has the most spectacular sights and shows that one can only dream of. But Celia and Marco soon start to fall in love despite knowing that only one of them can make it out alive. Not only that, but they are bound to continue on with this challenge as it is controlled by their masters.

I loved reading this book. It was just so amazing. It had interesting characters, an interesting plot, and beyond wonderful imagery present through out. I honestly found myself wanting to attend a circus such as Le Cirque des Reves. I would like to ask if anyone has read this book and what are your thoughts on it? And if you haven't, I highly recommend it.

Less substance than expected...still very god book. Could've esaily been made into a movie.
