The Chronicles of Vladimir Tod is one of my most favorite book series and it is from the life of a vampire named Vladimir Tod as he grows up in a little town. But, Vladimir is different from the other vampires, because he was born, not turned.
Vladimir lives alone with his "Aunt" who is really just a family friend, ever since his parents died in a house fire.
He has a best friend named Henry, and together they meet some wonderful people and go on a blood-filled journey.
The story is written in 3rd person from Vladimir's point of view.

Heather Brewer is great. Check out her Legacy of Tril series. The next one comes out in September or October, and the first ended on a cliff-hanger.
