You have no idea how hard it is to write a book when a character has a unique way of speaking. Not like accent or dialect unique, but his whole way of thinking and wording things is mixed up. He speaks in riddles. On top of that, he's a main character in my book, and he keeps insulting the main character in his riddles. She responds with a riddle insulting him. It takes forever to write the riddles and those scenes. I absolutely hate it. I love the characters though. I'd hate them and be their friend if they were real people.
