Hekatonkheires is a roleplay currently on the boards, if you manage to comprehend the new story line. I don't exactly remember when they rebooted the rp, but it was pretty recent. Talk to ayavani for more info.

Is the RP that >>7 mentioned the only RP thread up? If it is, would it be okay to start a new one? I really want to do one, but I'd feel as if I was missing some important information if I just started it without reading all of the other ones posts. I just don't have the time to.

It's fine to make your own roleplay on here. You may want to check out Hekatonheires and how it's set up, just since it's always good to reference something established and successful first. I don't suggest posting all the information on BBS, even if it's not that in-depth. It would just be too much, and it would be sort of spammy if all the characters and such were posted in the boards :\

It's like having a vampire character walk into a werewolf when your vampire character hates werewolves. It's not like it's easy to set most of my characters off, but the one thing that does just happens to happen as soon as they walk into a room.

To put it simply, they aren't well liked. Therefor they are ignored. So I leave. I've had some characters that'd get into fights every time they entered because they were hated so much. That was probably the most I've done since they are otherwise ignored. I'll have to alter my character for a RP too because it's more unexpected.

I've only done a few chat roleplays before. I generally stick to IMVU for chat RPing since you get a 3D character and scenery and don't need to explain those little details in a short character limit.

Not really. Well, not to me, at least. I like to play both gender characters equally. Sometimes, I have to ask a guy friend for help with certain reactions (you know, that situation where you're just not quite sure how a guy would react), but I still enjoy it. In this particular roleplay, I play several characters to move the story along, and the majority of them are guys. Well, a few of them are male puppets; not sure if that counts. And one is genderless being, but we'll get to that later :V

The hardest part for me is really fighting. There are so many details that can make a difference. Correction, there are so many small details that can make a difference. Chat fights are also more likely to have god-mods that people can't do anything about because they use an insane amount of logic to make your post wrong and an insane amount of logic to make it so that they are invincible. You know what I mean right?

When you're doing a torture scene, I can understand auto-hitting to a certain degree, but otherwise, no. Plus, if you're fighting with someone, you can't just magically never get hurt unless... You know, its magical. You can't dodge every single hit, nor can you land every single one. There are a lot of people that don't agree with that concept, though.

I was once in a horror/circus roleplay where there was a lot of that. The creator was a complete hypocrite, though. Her characters auto-hit everybody, but when our characters went to hit her back, she said we were godmodding her. It was ridiculous, because she made a fuss everytime her character got hurt. It's like, com'on, dude. Get the fuck over it - no character is perfect, sexy ringleader or not.

I can't wait until I get some time and put together Lotti the Mechanic's story. There was too much going on in this version of the RP for me to properly use this character, so I just put a little note about her in Zero's past, and I'll write a big thing about what happened with her later ;O
