I'm curious as to how many people have actually read these books, by Brent Weeks. They're amazing, in every single way, and I've reread them about five times now. It tells the story of a boy named Azoth, who trains under a master Wetboy named Durzo Blint. I guess you could call it a bildungsroman, since it's the story of how Azoth grows up and learns to make decisions for himself as he determines what is right and wrong in a society that's completely fucked up. One of the main themes in the books is "How many evil or corrupt people must you kill before you become the evil one?"
Anybody who likes morality/adventure/fantasy genres, give these books a go. You won't regret it.

I've read them! It's probably one of my favourite book series! My friend recommended it to me, and she's actually planning on cosplaying Vi.

They sound interesting! I'll look into them after my current reading list has been finished. :)

I read these books back a few years and must say they are definitely one of my favorites. I've also had a few of my friends read them and found that they favored them as well.
