The above in no way describes all of what this book is. This book is beautiful, almost haunting with it's images and concepts. The picture presented of society, and more importantly, Montag's place in it is cruel and empty and just a bit too familiar. If you haven't read this book, DO IT. It's what inspired me to not only write but to look deeper at the world around me.
Seriously though, it's good shit. =)

this book was way ahead of its time, and it depressed the hell outta me. but its still really good and i highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good read.
and every now and then, i think of the robot hound and i get reeeaaallllyyy scared...
