So I already checked and there is no other thread for Lord of the Flies, thus I am making one :D I am absolutely in love with this book and the movies, but I have to make a game based off of the book for an english project and I cannot think of ANY ideas. The project's due on thursday and it can't be any kind of knock off game (like monopoly lord of the flies version) so it has to be original. If anyone else here has read the book and wants to talk about it or some ideas for a game that would be really amazing :) so...thanks xD

First thing come to mind would be an altered form of Tag like how Humans VS Zombies is. The good thing about tag is that it is fairly easy to manipulate the rules and make something new of it.

As for specifics as I cant recall the book in more detail right now, I cant get into anything further at the moment, but I will try and come back (I'm taking a break from my statistics homework right now) and help if I can.

I'm currently reading Lord of the Flies in my English class. ^^ It's a pretty good book, i'm currently on chapter 8. Perhaps make some board game in which you have to reach the end while trying to survive. You'd move so many spaces according to what you roll with the dice. It would be a one way route, but there would be different roads you could take branching off. For example, instead of walking the long way around, you could take a short cut, however, it would have it's cons, such as more chances of you coming across death or some other obstacle. The first to reach the end wins.

We read this in my literature class in my junior year of high school (forget if it was junior or senior literature, since I had them both). The teacher gave up on reading it after chapter 1 since like 2/3 of the class had ADHD or something, so we ended up watching the movie instead.

It's a real shame, I was enjoying the book.

I've read this book multiple times. I absolutely love it. The sharp contrast the author creates between "civilization" and "order"... Holy cow.. just thinking about it makes my head explode. Western story writers have their own worth afterall!
