Sorry about the title, just couldn't help myself^_^ Anyway, I purchased a book of all the Sherlock Holmes Stories, and it is quite a read. For people who love mysteries and twists and shocking revelations, or even just the "OH SNAP!" moment, it is perfect! Right now I'm reading "A Study in Scarlet"
Anyone else read any?

Hound of the Baskervilles.
Although, I think it may have been the wife manipulating her husband.

Hound of the Baskervilles was the only one I've read so far. I enjoyed it.

"Scandal in Bohemia" freaking awesome, it's the first time Holmes gets out-witted!

>>6 I highly doubt running away after you;ve been found out counts as being outwitted

>>8 Well, She wasn't sure who it was, but she didn't give him any indication that she was on to him. She even passed by him that evening and told him goodnight, and he didn't think much of it.
Agreed that just running away before he arrived in the morning isn't clever, but she had the balls to follow him in disguise. It was subtle.

I just thought of something, in all the tv and cartoon cameos, Watson is depicted as a stout, fat man (Except in the new movies) Well, when reading the novels, I didn't read anything that said he was fat. Or perhaps people just assume he was, due to the Time setting, where "well-to-do" people were hefty, and ate nothing but bacon and tobacco.

Well, that's a relief, for a moment I was beginning to think I was the only one.
