I'm sure there must be other fans of Christopher Paolini's series lurking about this website. Finally, there's a release date for the long awaited concluding volume, named for the series Inheritance. November 8th. I haven't seen any pre-orders available, though I haven't looked either. I'm pretty stoked, but it's been so long since Brisingr came out. Almost three years, give or take. I know I won't be the only one rereading the third book to brush up before it comes out.

It's weird to think it'll finally end, after following the series for so long. I'm excited. Anyone have any thoughts, or predictions they'd like to share?

lol i have crappy imagination. thats why i read fantasy stories in the first place. but i'll bet the ending's bittersweet and people will die. But i dont think Arya and Eragon deserve each other. Arya's too capricious.

Finally! It has been too long. I don't remember much of what happened though. Gotta brush up for the finale.

A green dragon, you say? Maybe it's Galbatorix's other egg. He had two right?

Book 4 has been announced? NO WAY! Dang, and all of these Border stores have been going out of business lately. Might as well pre-order it online on Amazon or something.

But yeah, it seriously has been too long for this book. I was thinking that the 3rd book was going to be the last, but NOPE! Paolini decided to spilt the last book into two, and even add more onto the last book.

I look forward to it. I will most likely re-read the whole series just to remember what happened in the last book's absence.

Man, i remember getting to the the end of the third and going WTH over the note in the back explaining that there was one more... I sure hope it ends well-something that binds the story together nicely.

I am gonna get it when the price drops, but I also have to re-read the other 3 books now because I barely remember what happened in them *headdesk*

I came here to see if there was a thread about this. The book just came yesterday! I ran around the house screaming. Can't wait to read. It's just so thick. Looks like I'm carrying around a dictionary.

Also in Inheritance, he summarizes the last three books for you.

lol. I got Eragon as a free book at my school library. I don't remember what happened either. It's been at least four or five years. Way too long. What took him so long? haha. Oh well. Yeah, I like knowing details too I just don't have the time :)

You got it free? Thats awesome! I think my mom got it for me back in like, 6th grade. lol some people are just slow writers I guess. Though if the quality of the series is great, i really can't complain xD

I was wondering when someone would post about this. Great book so far. i got it 2 days ago and i'm halfway through it.

Haha. Really? (at the epicness) I've had it for a week and still not done. Halfway! Speed reader! I don't have time. There's a hold list so I have two more weeks with it. It's good so far. I love the series. I know I forgot a lot of people. And I forgot about Solembum. I think that's how you spell it. The werecat. You know what I mean. My friend calls Inheritance an Encyclopedia. It's hard carrying that thing from class to class.

Blodhgarm nice touch with the name and I just got the book im at about page 400 that is the best book in the series.
