uwaah.. is the Baccano! series this unpopular? I personally find this series one of the greatest series ever.. the anime doesn't really do it justice xD

Are the Durarara!! novels as good as this? If they are please someone send me a link to the translation!!!

They're nothing alike. Like, at all.

The novels are quite indeed a read that leaves what the anime gave a little more to be desired. A unique storyline with more depth to offers thanks to the cast of characters that highlight this series. You'll find all aspects of what you love from the anime, only just whole a lot more better within the novels.

So, any that are interested in reading this series you can refer to Baka-Tsuki. Though, I would also recommend looking at Untuned Strings blog translations as he's already finished a large portion of the series.

And if the Baccano series isn't enough there the fact untuned strings has also translated the first volume of Vamp! and is currently on the works of the second volume.

Which to those who don't know Vamp! maybe the name of the authour should be enough to ring bells.
