i've been here a few times, but found a few things confusing.
Firstly, can someone explain "bump" to me?
2. Are the chats mostly just for RP? or are they used as regular chat rooms where you meet new people?

Zero, (yep we start from zero) Have you read all the useful thread we've been provided for you on Main? You wouldn't be asking these question if you did, I guarantee that.

RPs aren't allowed on most board, heck. Random board even wants an organized board, so they did just that.

(And suddenly I felt like explaining things to you)

To reply to a thread means to bring the thread to the top of the page. Bump itself means Bring Up My Post. But due to the use over the course of time, it doesn't matter anymore if the post isn't "mine" or something like that. Therefore, bump is used to bring the thread to the top of the page and the poster had nothing to say.

And that concludes all the bs I need to say.
