In terms of popularity, it would be the cat; even in the Wiccan realm! (although i'm not a wiccan) but owls and cats are not ominous at all. They are signs of wisdom and spirituality, and they usually lead to good things in witchcraft. Although there are times were they can deliver a bad omen
