I'm an otaku - I know 'otaku' has some creepy obsessive connotations in Japanese, and I'm not disputing those, I got a degree in Japanese Studies, so, yeah.
I've started reading the light novels, they are high above my skill level (the manga is more my speed) but I'm determined! Once Google Translate added writing recognition to their app, the lives of students of kanji changed forever.
