Correct. You can use a trip-code to verify your name across forums. (i.e. within this forum, my IP's id is: "ID:WDRFlx7S" but on the Missions forum, it's different. So the "!faaokalae." is a tripcode that verifies that I'm the real Alaestor, even across forums.) But this isn't always good, and defeats the purpose of "anonymous posting", but because I start a lot of threads, it's useful.
There is no registration, or roster.
