Welcome to day 1 of Message-boarding!

We have; Header Forums (main,...), Sub-Forums (Intro, missions,...), threads ("huh?", "Hello :D", ...), and posts (>>1).

Threads have a viewing priority which dictates where on the viewing-list it will appear. The ones near the top are what are displayed on the "front page" of a forum. "View All Threads" will allow you to view all threads regardless of their priority.

A thread is /bumped/ to #1 priority once someone has replied to it. People say "Bump" to make it clear that they are posting only to give the thread priority so that it can be seen.

The "sage" button allows for posting without bumping the thread priority. If many people think a thread is stupid, they will ask people to /sage/. This means; if you don't want the thread to regain priority (and let it die) but you still want to voice your opinion, you can press the sage button on your post. Sage is also used for when you dont want to necro-post (bumping the priority of a very old, dead, or resolved thread).

Sage is NOT a "downvote" as some people think it is. It doesn't lessen priority- it just doesn't increase it.
