I've just finished DRRR! and found this site, so I'm really excited to be a part of all of this! Hope I can get to know lots of people and change experiences.
Guess it will be fun, please welcome me well XD
I'm from Brazil, nice to meet you all ^^

Haha! Cool! How do you ask someone their name and introduce yourself? There is a girl from Brazil living in my neighborhood. She speaks English, but she has trouble sometimes and I'd like to say hi. :3 And I don't trust google translate...

Well, basically, to introduce yourself you just say:
"Oi, meu nome é..." (Hi, my name is...)

And to ask her name:
"Como é o seu nome?" (What is your name?) or "Como você chama?" (What do they call you?)

I'm not sure how to explain the phonetics through this message, but if you watch anime and are more or less familiar with the sounds, I think you won't have much difficulty... it's like "ka" in japanese sounds like "ka" in portuguese and so go on... and just a tip haha: "A" in Portuguese sounds like "Ah", "E" sounds like "A", "I" sounds like "E"... sorry if it's confused, it's difficult to explain the phonetics without actually saying it ha ha

Well, if you have any more doubts, just ask ^^

No, I get it! I took Spanish and French in school. They're all three Latin-based, so I'll practice and, hopefully, get it. Thanks so much! Oh! And her name was Felicia!
:D

Oh cool! I've always wanted to learn French *--*
Then the phonetics won't be a problem for you. I myself never met someone named Felicia ha ha
Well, if you have any more questions, just ask ^^
