Hello.

This is actually my second day--yesterday I was trying to remember details on the Dollars while watching Durarara!! and ended up finding a page on a wiki, which then led me here.

I was fascinated and had just learned the password from that wiki page, so I decided to check it out. I've never been on a BBS before, so it was an interesting find--even more interesting was to find a message board loosely dedicated to nothing in particular and yet managing to thrive.

So, I scanned it for a bit and found this helpful orientation thread along with the FAQ and information about tripcodes. I was dog-tired from staying up so late, but I was certainly proud to have read, and used, it all! Thank you to the people who posted and maintain those excellent threads.

So, I guess a little about me: I'm a fan of anime, but more than that I am a fan of stories. Anime, books, video games, movies, music--it's all the same to me! I also fancy myself a writer, but dubiously so due to a lack of time or experience. Even so, I'm practicing in small steps and making my way forward.

Well, I think that's enough out of me. I'll probably answer any questions if anyone feels them worthwhile to pose, though.

Thanks Corvin, I hope so too. I don't know how dedicated I might become, but this seems like an excellent place to hang out online. I'm also particularly looking forward to the News and Technology boards, since I tend to have difficulty keeping track of things by myself.
