HELP, I'M NEWTo start out with, let us tell you some cool things that will help you out as you get ready to submerge yourself in this awesomeness that is the Dollars:
✮ By typing that password and entering this site, you're already a Dollars member!! HOW EXCITING. But wait! Please note that Dollars-BBS is
not a fansite.
✮ Above each board, there are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G board descriptions. Be sure to go to each board and read each one before you make a thread. When you make a thread, make sure it's in the right spot. (Misplacement may lead to rage from other members who help moderate. You will soon learn that we have quite a few personalities here. Be careful and get off on the right foot!)
✮ Hey, by the way, there's this very contemporary styled button sitting on the top right of the page that says, "View All Threads" ! What's that for? If you click it, you'll see all the threads that are in the board. Please check that and make sure your thread isn't a duplicate or we'll be sad ; ^;
✮ If you look on the line your Name shows up on when you post, it also says "ID:______" This is a random letter scatter of your IP address. Mine for example is “Name: Kannerz ID:ZGo88njV.” Even if you change your name, your IP will still be the same, so don't try to masquerade as someone else ;) That's always a good thing to know lol
✮ On the other hand, adding a tripcode to your name is a way to differentiate yourself from everyone else especially those that share your name. When posting, simply add an exclamation point (!) or hash (#) and some random words after your name: "YourName !randomwords" where "randomwords" will generate a unique identifier for you. (For example mine looks like>> Name: Kannerz
!!QnMEEPcaB.)
✮ Have fun! Check out our Missions and any boards that interest you. Don't take us too seriously if you get yelled at; everyone makes mistakes, so just learn and move on, 'kay~?

For those who want to help out with keeping BBS clean and organized:1) What do I do when other members are asking questions from FAQ or making duplicate threads?
Don't yell at newer members or people making duplicate/asking common questions. Direct them to the Description and FAQ thread on Main. Member didn't see? Post again. Member still not listening? Yell yourself to awsumness
2) So, there's this other member I'm not sure about, who is yelling at another member for making a thread...
Older member YELLING at new member!?!?!! D: Leave. Don't take sides, don’t comment. Comment when it's all over and SAGED. Do not bump the thread. :T Odds are, that member is a regular; they know what their doing. Just leave it. :I
3) WHY ARE THEY YELLING?
Why we yell? Because the older members have been here for.....well most of us.....since the beginning of the site's creation. We've been through a hella lot. :Y Our anger is just our expressing our disappointment, and for some, to direct the newer members to the right place. You shouldn't be yelling, not yet, because you don't have much to see in disappointment. But your time will come. :3

I'd say their top argument is that BBS is a predominantly english website. Yes, we do have people who speak different languages here, but posts are made in english for the most part. We are an English website and we do not communicate in any other language. I strongly recommend from now that you do use English and only English. Thank you~
If you feel the need to talk some more in another language, visit the Countries board or one of the drrrchat non-english rooms (see chatroom link up there)

Hey, I'm still pretty new here and everythigs still pretty fascinating (as in "whoa, this is SO cool! Glad it's not another roleplaying-fansite...") and the chatrooms took awhile to get used to since people type fast -_- but I already feel very welcomed here. The concept of the Dollars was created by the creator of Durarara, whoever wrote the plotline and etc.
The creator of this particular webside is Reltair, and he along with some mods manages the site. Well actually, everybody helps "manage" the site in one way or another, but you get the point.
