If they like music and want to make their own I would encourage it, sure. I wouldn't force them to just the same as I wouldn't force a kid to play a sport, even if they really like it. I leave it up to their choice and my budget to buy said instrument.

Cheesy as it is, Kingdom Hearts will forever be my favorite video game series with FF7 as a very close second. Sure. Of course it depends on the situation of the person. Causes that lead to an disloyal child may be uninvolved, cold, abusive, untrustworthy, control freak parents.

As a child of loving parents, I don't really know how to answer this question. Why the hell wouldn't I be loyal? For fuck's sake, they've wasted most of their lives and probably 99% of their money on my siblings and myself. Had they not had us, or hell, even just me, they could've done a lot more selfish things. Hell yeah I'm grateful to them for having, keeping, raising and loving me. I know I can never repay them for all the things they have done for me. The least I can do is love and be loyal to them.

I live with my biological parents. So.. uh, why is there a limit to just blood-related? Do adopted children not exist? I have a ton of adopted friends and I'm sure they're just as, if not even more, grateful for their foster peeps for providing them with a loving home.

Environmental science!! I have to say, I love everything that hates on the human race :D It's a fantastic class. It pulls you from your human-centric view of life and makes you think about everything else. I highly recommend it to everyone. Or maybe I just really like my badass teacher.

The way I understand it, is a geek is just someone with a very particular interest in something. It doesn't have to be something weird, but they do have to have an abnormal interest in it. Computer geeks, band geeks, it applies to anything. Even things like cooking geeks, music geeks, etc.

A nerd is the derogatory version. Someone who is unhealthily introverted, valuing most things over human interaction. The difference here is that 'geek' doesn't have anything to do with your sociability, but 'nerd' does.

My ideal life would be peaceful and quiet, and I wouldn't be bothered by anything too negative, but be able to take a situation into my own hands and stop any negativity that would lead to something bad. Plus unlimited amount of salmon. Salmon is good. My routine would be, wake up, sleep in, wake up for real, go to school, graduate school, draw, eat salmon or other food, sleep, etc. And people would like me around here for once.

One, fluently. I have little to no trouble understanding latin based languages, I took a few classes in Chinese in high school(primarily Mandarin), and I've been studying Japanese in my spare time. I can only speak English, but I have no trouble understanding a wide variety of languages. Same goes for accents and slang terms.

2001: A Space Odyssey. It's just...amazingness. I love it! The cinematography is great, and it's a wonderful adaptation of the novel.

The time I spend at camp is amazing. I get to be with some wonderful people while being away from my parents. Plus, I get to be outside and away from electronic distractions. The only bad thing is have little to no air conditioning.

Specifically, I'd say this past summer with my friend Will (who is also a girl). She taught me that there are people out there who understand, and that eventually, the good people do come out on top. She's like a sister to me and I miss her dearly.

This website is the reason I've developed internet addiction syndrome ;D It's just that awesome. I have made a ton of friends here and it's something that keeps me connected to them. I don't even really know why I come here anymore (other than our beloved intros section ;D), but how would you describe it.. it's like a home. It's my home in the internets. I believe we either:

a) Go to a realm filled with donuts, corn beef hash, ice cream, good books that do not seem fan fiction-ey, music, dancing, no judgement, and no extremists. And no it isn't heaven, it's a place where the clouds are made of fluff sauce.

b) We rot in the ground and eventually end up becoming bones in a casket as our flesh, muscles, etc. melt away from natural decomposition.

OPINION TIME: [TL;DR you don't have to read this paragraph at all :|] One of my teachers said something along the lines of, "Schools were made to be daycares. Yes, children, you are just in a prison-like daycare. And I am just your babysitter. Think about it! Back then, parents worked and had nowhere to leave their kids. So they ditched them at other people's homes, which turned into schools! Because, well, the baby sitters had to keep the children busy somehow, right? In any case, schools are just places that little children like you are required by law to be locked up in while your diligent parents get you some food."

Real question time: How do you feel about being forced to get an education? Would you change our societal norms with respect to education?

I know going to school is all we've known our whole lives (or most of us anyway). But personally I'd rather go out there, explore and learn things on my own after middle school. Knowing the basics is enough imo. We can learn the rest on the job. Or at least have school be somewhere where we do internships half the time and the other half go to in-school lectures.

Note to self: On le next intro game thingymajiggers, mention keeping an open mind, mkay? Mkay.

Of all the questions to answer I didn't expect one so relevant to me. If we add together all the days I've missed, it's been about 2 school years worth, from 6th - current day: 10th. Obviously I've been to court many times as well, and had other issues while somehow making it past each grade, haven't been held back yet. At first it was depression mixed with a bit of anxiety about social environments, but once puberty was over I knew my mother alone could not stop me from staying home, so I simply began to do so often. I am smart. This is what I think. Therefore I don't think I need school any longer to succeed in life without any fatal mistakes, though mistakes will be made. With that said, I haven't yet found a formula that makes changing the societal norm a good choice. I think I am smart but I know if other kids could miss like me they would do so. Not all of them are ready to take life by the horns and actually get stuff done and would end up living off of their parents for life, which might end early from starvation or drug overdose. The closest thing I can think of is only allowing A students off, but then there are also kids who have the potential for a career, just not one involving the major subjects of school, and the smart children who haven't found the right career path. I really don't have a perfect system that wouldn't cost too much in employees, bankrupt schools, or cause riots, but I do think that this should be something looked upon on a bigger scale, because mature children really might know what's best for themselves, believe it or not parents. Personally, since I'm rather self centered and only see the world around me, I'd like a simple exception for myself.


Now as for my question, I'll admit I was way too busy answering to think of one. Let's go with something strange, a concept I've thought out randomly. What if everyone becomes God after death but only until the next person dies, which is about a millisecond, then they fade into nothingness, go to heaven, etc... With your own one chance to change the world, what would you do, keeping in mind it won't affect you, you're dead.

If I had the powers of God? I don't know exactly what those are, but if it's not beyond the limits, I would eradicate humanity. I would not leave one DNA of our species flying around to become a living human being again. It doesn't matter if it doesn't affect me. If I had the powers of God, I would do it regardless of if I'm alive or not. Fuck humanity. You've been way too awful on this precious planet.

I'm sorry you have to live in our society. While most people wouldn't mind going to school thoughtlessly, I agree that some people really don't have to. Though I don't agree with the A students thing. You can't really judge people by their IQ or how compatible they are with our current educational system. Maybe the kids who show promise. But then again, who truly knows what kind of a person these free kids will end up to be?
I wouldn't know. It really should be looked at at a bigger scale. Unfortunately, I'm not someone who's capable of that.

A: Yes, I believe it's possible to forget the reason why we love someone. Like when we're really angry or mad at that person, we'll ask ourselves, "Why do I even love him/her?" and said "I hate him/her." But that wasn't true, those words are used to convince ourselves that we didn't love them any longer.
Then we or that person will try to reconcile and remembered why we love that person.
But when the road's clear and straight, we won't forget why we loved them.
If we truly love that person (wife/husband/partner), we can't stop no matter how we try. A different story if it's just a "crush" to a bf/gf or if some people married because financial benefits.

there is no 'good' or 'evil' like in movies, everyone has something good or evil insider them.
so every person is good or evil, even if he did something good for bad, or bad for good.

I think that something that makes a good friend is someone that you cannot ONLY have a good time with but also speek to in all honesty and whom you are not afraid to be yourself around (that does not mean, however, that you have to show all parts of yourself to them) and that they accept you for who you are, not for what they want you to be.
