After making the mistake of posting it on main board, I will post it here now. :(

Hello everyone, call me Valen if you like, I hope to get along with everyone~

Welcome Valen, I hope you encounter some people you get along with here. Depending on where you tend to hang out more, and your timezone, the people you meet on this site can change drastically.

Regardless of that, I'm fairly confident you'll be able to find a group you fit into easily enough. Keep in mind that the forum and the chatroom are home to two almost entirely different communities, so if one place seems odd or out of place to you - Then the other might help.

Also, don't take it to personally if you get fussed at over something. New forums are adjustment phases, and while some things are just unforgivable - Mistakes are expected. The people who tend to be picky about things, me included, see a lot of the same issues every day, so we lose patience with them.

But yeah. Lurk around, read stuff, meet people, welcome to dollars.

If you enjoy writing and think you are rather good at it, then there is a fairly extensive RP going on in the Literature board, as well as something more casual. Random is where most typical "forum games" go, and if you enjoy visual novels we have a board for them under "games".

You can probably guess the rest yourself, but there are a few hidden gems laying around the site - Both content wise, and people wise.

Thank you! And that's great ^^ I do love visual novels, I didn't think I'd find another forum that had a section for it other than my usual sites.

Our Visual Novel section is pretty sparse, mainly because a lot of people don't actually know what they are.

However, most of the members are pretty helpful when it comes to hunting down files and such. If you have a visual novel you want to play, you can check to see if there is a thread on it - And if not, make one with a summary or what not and request for some helping hunting it down.

Regarding the VN board, it's usually either Taro or I who chases up any requests. Do note however that there is a request thread somewhere in the rather short archives which you could utilize if you really want us to find something (with a bit of grumbling from me, but that's par for the course).

Mind you, it would be appreciated if someone else started writing up reviews as well in order to pass around information about the better ones in existence. If I may recommend one that requires a review, you could try Planetarian ~Chiisana Hoshi No Yume~ (english patch here . And yes, those underlined sections are clickable links.
