Each duplicate thread creates spam and shit. Since your post was just made and has no other posts, you can actually delete the thread entirely. But just know, once a thread has gotten a reply, it can never be deleted, unless the admin deletes it. But he obviously won't spend time doing so, so it's best to be careful of duplicate threads.

Uhm, read the FAQ, lurk a bit, and that's about it. Hopefully, you'll read this in time.
