So, obviously I'm new and really excited about being here! Actually, I'm just an excitable person in general. :D But on a slightly more serious note I decided to join to try to make a difference. I might still technically be a kid but I want to try to do my part too, and this group seems like the perfect way to start.

You should use a tripcode or something, someone else has the name Jello. Although I haven't seen them in a while, but just in case.
Anyways, a tripcode is a way to uniquely identify someone. Basically, when making a post, after you type your name, you type an exclamation mark. Then you put in a password, like if this was a regular forum. And there's your tripcode. You have test your tripcode in the Test board, under Random.

Yep, you got it. Yeah, I think the person left, haven't seen them since they did this whole wristband thing, so they could've left. Or taken a hiatus. But in any case, it really is a common name, so someone might use it in the future anyways. Better to do it now, than later, I suppose.

No prob. Also, if you haven't already, you should read http://dollars-bbs.org/main/res/1314820384.html. It's the FAQ answering any and everything you wanted to ask. And you could also ask some questions too, we'll be happy to answer them there, and add it to our list.
Also, remember to use the View All Threads button before making a new thread, especially if you're in the Countries board, because there are times when a thread has been made. If you're worried about necro posting, make sure to read if the thread is really dead, as in the discussion is done. Then post if you think you can revive it. If it's not dead in any ways, you can post.
Sorry if you I'm babying you on stuff that you would already know, it's just some people don't know these things, so yeah. Just gotta make sure.
