Hey I'm new and just wanted to say hello. I checked out the chat a few nights ago and it looked pretty cool. Also I have a question that was not adressed in the FAQ. First off I understand this is not a fansite, but would it be okay if we chatted in the room as the characters we portray sometimes. Me and my friend are big RP and cosplayers and I'm usually Izaya and she's Kido. SO would it be okay to enter the chat as them or not? Thanks for the time and I'll see yall on the flipside.

Welcome, and there's nothing against using the names of characters from Durarara, no matter how many people use them. The thing you should be wary of is the backlash some "members"(it's in quotes because some people pledge their allegiance to another dollars group and sometimes they talk smack about our site). Sometimes, they'll attack you because you're using the name of one or more of their friends and they're a bit scared about namestealing and shit(irrational people these days) so yeah. Expect backlash from people. But it's generally known to ignore these people and not take them seriously and go on with your day and make another chat room and shit like that.

Very much thanks. I don't listen to shittalkers anyway. It's like the bad mouthers at cons who get pissed when you dress alike. Haters are pointless and clearly have nothing better to do than to abuse someone else. I take time to point out how others are dressed the same way so clearly original ideas are in short supply. It normally shuts them up and if not ignoring it is always the easiest way. Now my friend and I just have to decide who she's gonna be. And apparently I'm an idiot. It's Kida not Kido.
