Hey Ranger! Basically, there's lots of different boards and threads here. Every board has a description of what should go under there, so try to make sure you post in all the right places, kay. Also, use the "View All Threads" button to avoid remaking an already-existing thread. There's also a chat you could use to meet new people. You're not required to participate in missions, but your cooperation is appreciated. Please read the FAQ thread on the Main Board too. And remember that this is not a fansite!
