Ah~ It always makes me really happy to see something awesome inspired off something else. I always thought it was brilliant how Hetalia managed to get so many people interested in the world and cultures around them (the crazy fans aside) and to see something awesome like all this community service and good deeds inspired off another anime (I say inspired because, well, look at the site. And the name of the site. Definitely inspired) I love so much.

I'll go by Naoto around here. Just Naoto is fine. It's my nickname in real life, and I love it so. I love a lot of things, I suppose if anyone wanted to know anything they could ask me, but here's hoping we go far and do some good for the world~
It's nice to meet you Naoto! I totally agree with you about the awesomeness of anime inspiration. Despite the newer, crazy Hetalia fans who may or may not get the point, many others have become more aware of the histories of the world. But I digress... Although this site is inspired by the one from Durarara!!, this is not a fansite. It would be good if you read the FAQ on the Main Board and pay attention to the descriptions of each board. Also, use the "View All Threads" button to prevent making duplicates of already-existing threads.
Since you want to help out, check out the Missions Board. It's new, though, so some of the other missions and projects have not been moved from the Main Board (so check that too). Anywaysm it's great to have you here and welcome to the Dollars! ^_^

I know it's not a fansite though, don't worry. My main point was it's always nice to see something great come from something so small. Sort of like that movie "Pay it Forward" or the wonderful Glee clubs that came from the TV show of the same name. Or maybe the clubs came first, I'm not sure. Never looked into that...

Ah, it's actually from Naoto Shirogane in Persona 4. It's a character that I'm (told that I am) good at cosplaying--our personalities are a lot alike in real life, so... I guess I just adopted it.
As for pronunciation, you're very correct. "Now-toe." Written "直斗"
