Ah, not quite. 'Soma' is the "ideal pleasure drug" used by the characters in Adolphus Huxley's _A Brave New World_. The effects of the drug in the novel are quite fascinating to me and I do quite like how soma is used as a symbol of indulgence in the novel. Well, to me it is a symbol of escape but that is another topic to be discussed. Thank you for the warm welcome, I do hope we will all interact interestingly
