Just asking because I'm curious, has anyone ever played Hollow Knight? It's my favorite game ever! Also, does anyone have any game recommendations for other metroidvanias?

Hollow knight is genuinely one of the best games I've ever played, I love it to death. Another good one is dead cells, haven't spent too much time in that one yet but the combat feels fun and the music is great too (not as good as the hollow knight OST, though).

I love Hollow Knight! I've probably spent around 90 hours on one play through and I still haven't brought myself to complete it lol. I'll have it done by the time Silksong comes out though!

Yeah Hollow Knight is a kick-ass game. certainly one of the best metroidvanias out there with amazing graphic to boot. I hope you already decided to buy it but if not, I urge you to pick up a copy for yourself.

Im legally obligated to recommend Castlevania Symphony of the night if you havent played already. Otherwise bloodstained is really solid as well.

Check out Owlboy! And obviously metroid.
Some similar games, but maybe not necessarily metroidvanias, are Chasm, the Messenger, Cave Story, and I LOVE shovel knight.

Hollow knight is my favorite game as well.
Ori and the blind forest and it's sequel Ori and the Will of the wisps are other good challenging metroidvanias that I recommend to you all.

Ori and the blind forest was realy awsome ! Sadly i am not able to play the will of the whisps but the gamplay trailer look awsome as well.
Salt and sanctuary could be interessting for u as well.
