Yes! I've played it more than a few times, as well as its associated fangames like Yume 2kki, .flow, LCD Dem, and others I'd highly recommend.
The game's very atmospheric and doesn't have much in the way of plot, but it's very, very calming to play through. Personally, I'd recommend Yume 2kki a bit more - you don't have to play through Yume Nikki first to get into it, and it's MUCH bigger than Yume Nikki so you really get more to explore.
The game is very much an experience first and foremost and it allows you to go through it a your own pace. There is some story mentioned, but it's definitely not the focus.
