hi Dog, I'm not sure what type of mmos you're looking for so I can only recommend mmos I'm familiar with:
Path of exile, Mabinogi, Guild wars 2, FFXIV online, runescape, MapleStory 2 and some free mmos from IGG website. Not sure anymore if IGG is still up but the site usually has some f2P mmos iirc.

I would recomend albion online for sure. It has made its f2p launch a month ago and servers are very active. It has a lot of pvp and guild war aspects.

FFXIV is the best MMORPG imo. Played Black Desert, Guild Wars 2, WOW (on a private server), Elsword (if that counts as a MMO). But honestly, out of all those only FFXIV managed to keep me playing (sitting at roughly 4624 hours now). Stunning graphics, good storytelling, easy but nice gameplay, hard and "soft" trials and dungeons. Only downside: Monthly subscription.
