Im assuming that you know the main goal of the game. Learn about some characters movesets and choose someone you like to main, laning can go into a lot of details so its best to look at some guides online. When going up against enemies, dont over engage and get greedy, its a strategy game so use the best out of your characters abilities and always farm as much money as you can from enemy minions by getting the last hit on them and purchase items that best help you

find a character you like then learn them by playing against AI, find out what items you need to buy and remember league isn't an "easy" game so figuring out all the nuances of your champions will take some doing. talking about this is kinda making me want to play again, but its a REALLY addicting game so i probably shouldn't.
