How about a thread about DnD? I know I've been getting into it alot more, and it seems like one of those things everyone wants to try but few have. I gotta say a game like this, with so many options and things to do, especially with the heavy use of your imagination, is alot of fun. I tend to be the DM/GM(Dungeon master, Game master) for alot of my games because my friends IRL don't have the time for it, but I play with online friends alot too.
This thread is for all things DnD, and even other tabletop rpgs.

I would love to find a group to play D&D with. The only problem is my schedule rotates. I might be off this coming Tuesday and Wednesday, but the week after that it'll be Wednesday and Thursday that I'm off, and so on and so forth. It makes it hard for me to stay consistent with a campaign. It's also how I've been written off a few times in a game.
The last time I played D&D with friends, our story ended for that night with our heroes were teleported out of an ambush and dropped in a tavern outside of the town. When they started the game up again and I couldn't join, they used the "His trajectory might have been different from ours and he probably wound up somewhere else other than the tavern" excuse to explain my absence.

I'd love to play it, but I have no friends since I'm an arsehole who hates other people, and other people don't generally get on well with me anywho. Looks like fun though; used to own a set, it's probably gathering dust somewhere.

Bards can be fun, though they are more of an rp class.
