Playing it currently, at the point where you track Shesha.
I feel like the story is still kind of getting going thematically? Like the biggest complaint with the original smtiv was that the story was "slow" at the start and lacked a very clear end-goal but that didn't matter to me so much because the world building was genius and the individual scenes were delivered really powerfully. This one feels like it has a clear direction but also weaker in direction at times? like when medusa gave a censored cuss i was like, wait WHAT?! it made like zero sense XD i know its a lower budget sequel that wasn't intended so i guess that's normal, but i'm still driven to 100% this one because the gameplay is still AWESOME and i love the new negotiations and smirking. Not to mention, the MUSIC oh dear, the original ost was amazing, but i am shocked at just HOW well the new music holds up despite being a side-game, i mean there are some real masterpieces in there! In any case i hope i wasn't to negative because its actually still sweet, its just that comparing ANY story to smtiv would be insane since that's like, seriously one of the best ever if you ask me.
