Pretty simple, wanted feedback from those who have used the steam controller to any extent. How well did it handle your inputs, how natural did it feel, did you like it, etc. I'm toying with using it in my current project.

I made a thread for this after I got one for myself.

The controller is okay. The keybinding tools are good. The trackpads work well as trackpads, but don't expect them to feel like joysticks. The abxy buttons kinda suck. Paddles are handy. It's not meant to replace a normal controller.

4 out of 5, Slightly better than a wired xbox 360 controller.

Ah, sorry, I did not see that. Since we're here (sageFTW), do you think that alternating between softer movements and swiping across a single track-pad would feel natural? I know that may sound vague, but it's potentially the biggest question in my current project's design. I'd be especially curious to know if you'd expect your thumbs to hurt or get tired if you did that for an extended period.

Holding the trackpads is probably the most comfortable way to hold it. I did notice my hands would get tired in racing games, but I wouldn't even use the trackpads for those. If your planning on building around the trackpads, and not to mention the the gyro, then the controls may feel really natural and intuitive.

Side note: I didn't like using the right track pad for skyrim, but loved it for games like the stick of truth.

Ah, thanks! The input helps.
