Its not confirmed its gen7. Likley but not confirmed.

On the diancie X klink thing. The magazine stated it is a manmade pokemon.

I think it is a gen 7 pokemon, it does not appear in the codes of the last games.
As you know there are people who are searching the data from new pokemon games, and reveal some pokemon some days after the game is out.

to me. this pokemonn is way to similar to a currently existing one, and not in a "oh yeah callback" kind of way like Trubbish to Grimer or Seviper to Ekans

That being the western name. The official JPN name is Majiana (マジアナ)
