My only problem is that they didn't add her sooner, that and she is DLC.

They started working on her after the game had already come out, so she wasn't originally planned to be added. My guess is that she was the winner of Nintendo's pick-the-next-Smash-character thing they did back in the day. Also; why is none of this in the thread that was specifically made for discussing all Smash games?
