so, months ago I discovered this guy @ansdor, and he was making a racing game called Slipstream. He is working on the game for more than a year (it began as a “just for fun” project, like he says, and before de "OutRun clone" genre started to be a thing). He created everything, except the music, by himself, and the result of his work is this masterpiece: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iJFWcRA2KRE

19 days ago, he started a campaign on Kickstarter to launch the game and turn his hobby (as a game dev) into his real job, but he already think the campaign will flop (he even went back to smoking again!), because there is only 11 days left and the campaign is at $2,804 of the $6,000 goal. he explains everything in this post: http://www.ansdor.com/post/136558445111/the-slipstream-kickstarter-post

you know what I mean, Im NOT treating you guys as my "particular army of helpers" or something like that. As someone who loves good games, I'm just asking: if Slipstream interest you somehow, please, help my friend and his great racing game (that honors the 80's culture, especially the oldschool arcade games), it can be with money, telling your friends about it, sharing on facebook, everything is valid: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/noctet/slipstream

If one of the Dollars goals is to make the world a better place, this include helping dreams come true, at least for me. I'm doing everything I can to help (he doesn't even know what I'm doing)

anyway, this is a game thread, what are your first impressions of Slipstream?
