If you like anime and rpg games then try the Tales series!
The Tales series, known in Japan as the Tales of Series, is a franchise of fantasy Japanese RPG's published by Bandai Namco. Since each game in the series is made by the same creator, they will have similar elements such as in-game items and the battle system, which will make playing the games easier to follow if you get used to the setup of a previous tales game. Though this is a series, you don't actually have to play the games in order. Each game has it's own story even though they're in a series (pretty much they just all have the same title and creator so that's why they're a series) Don't underestimate when I say fantasy rpg! These storylines actually get pretty shocking and sometimes dark and you're feelings will get attached to characters easily.There'll be anime cutscenes here and there and openings too.And the gaming platforms for them are usually Playstation 2,3, and 4(except for one game thats on xbox 360) So anyways, try playing the Tales series! To start you off, I suggest playing Tales of Vesperia (xbox 360) or Tales of Xillia (PS3)I hope you like Tales! :)

I am a huge fan of the Tales of series :D *waves*
your description of the series fits pretty well i guess, maybe i use some parts of it when recommanding the tales series to a customer whos looking for a good RPG^^
U see i work at gamestop and for some reason i never find the right words to convince the people that there are no better anime styled RPG games than tales of games xD
Anyway, I'd love to discuss the series with ya^^
my favorite tales of game remains Tales of Symphonia, a classic! I'm not into graphics, I just think the Symphonia story and characters are the best of the series *_* especially zelos wilder ♥

Hello Piero! I'm really happy to know that someone else knows about tales! I agree I'm don't really pay attention to graphics but to storyline as well. Also, have you played or at least watched Tales of Zestiria? I'm loving it so far (didn't finish yet, but as usual, someone's going to betray the party and make me feel sad) and am liking this character named Mikleo :)

hehe yes i got tales of zestiria as soon as it came out^^ but i also didnt progress that far yet since im working fulltime so pls no spoilers xD
i like mikleo as well, hes kinda cute =) but i must say there are a few minus points to this game...im like at the very beginning of the story and it seems like i can already use the full battle force u know like with these fusion thing. and it has some bugs in battle, like when im surrounded, the camera just wont adjust right and im stuck in a corner...XD
well i can overlook these if the story goes on as cool as in other titles =)

Same here, the camera angles during battles can be so annoying. The first thing I thought was "Its going to be even worse with multiplayer." I think this is just me, but since I'm at the beginning of the game, I kind of wish the field enemies would be more challenging rather than just a battle lasting like 7 seconds. But who knows, it can probably get harder later on. Don't worry no spoilers. And yesssss, Mikleo can be cute >^<
