Bio shock is always a good way to go. Mass Effect and Dragon Age are a nice place to look too. If you're looking for something heavily story driven look for games that have been worked on by telltale.

ik its not for xbox but on computer theres this really good game dev called choice of games that makes text based adventure games.

It's not on the 360, but if you have an Xbox One I suggest getting The Master Chief Collection; it isn't entirely story focused, but the story in it (and outside of it in it's extended universe) is something I really love.
One 360 you could definitely pick up Dragons Dogma The Dark Arisen. It's a very good game, and as a surprisingly good story if you stick with it.
