Problems..

If I can finally get this post right; there have been some issues with the server lately. If the server status on the main page says it is offline, it usually is not.

There are not a lot of players online at the moment, but don't let that discourage you from logging in and leveling up! It will be of great use to you to have clear fields for leveling, because more people means more Player Killers to ruin your day.

There are several regular players, but they all have very different time schedules. Being that this is open-alpha testing, there are no active events going on, so many people simply spend time on personal quests and on leveling.

Is this game is playable? i thought the World is never exist (samw like dollars before i found this site lol). Is anyone here that played the world, please give me the screenshot with your character pls >< i'm curious, i do love .hack series too, i've been playing .hack since i was in elementry (seriously) now i've played 4 whole generation, from tsukasa, kite, haseo, and tokio.

I'm sorry for my bad english, english is not my main language but i just too excited so i must leave my mark on this pos LOL hehe

『The World 2D』 was first created by Joe Stacko and his company, CyberConnect LLC, in 2005. Since that time, the game has gone through several different hosts, and many side-servers known as "Netslums" have popped up.

The game is a classic 2D RPGMaker-style MMO, but it uses its own source code, and has several added features, such as a Chaos Gate system.

The Story of 『The World 2D』 was written and maintained by roleplayers within the game. Several admin players ran plotlines that the average player indulged in, and many hackers and regular players created their own stories, and left marks within The World.

The entire background history of the events in this game were played out by the players themselves.

Common activities in 『The World 2D』 included chatting with friends, partying together to raid dungeons and kill monsters, forming guilds to go to war with other players or to achieve personal goals, and communicating with Artificial Intelligence entities.

Currently, The World is being hosted by a new company headed by ZarenKyra known as CyberConnects2, and is under heavy revision. CCs2 has released their server under the name 『The World』R:1. It features content from every previous rendition of 『The World 2D』, along with added content, such as improved GUI, Grunty raising, and new fields to explore.
