I don't think anytime soon, perhaps because of the game company developing it? I heard they stole the games funding...

The adventure game that WhatPumpkin is making is not sburb, but a spin-off in the same universe. The reason it is taking so long is because some of the funds in the original kick-starter was stolen, which is why the game has been in the making for so long. There is a fan-game for Sburb that is in the process of being made, but a little demo for the character creator is out and it looks really good!
