It's happening!

We don't know too much yet, but the fourth game in the main Fallout series is going to be taking place in Boston, and from the looks of the trailer, it might be very close to ready.

It looks like it's going to be set in Boston. A lot of people have been pointing out all the different buildings and monuments in the trailer. Looks epic either way.

I've never been a major fan of the Fallout games but this one looks pretty interesting.

As of yet, we haven't seen any gameplay. I guess if you mean the assumed addition of vehicles, then that could pass as a decent reason. But other than that, nothing suggests that this won't be very similar to the previous games in the series. Regardless, I hope it's good and we can both enjoy it! I guess we'll see at E3.

There were days when I wished we could have co-op in Elder Scrolls and Fallout, but I think I've moved beyond those times. It would certainly be fun in some ways, but at least personally I think it would almost always descend into chaos. Instead of actually playing the game, you and your partner would always be trying to do weird funny stuff, or you'd be trying to keep each other from killing important NPCs or aggroing towns.

If lots of people wanted co-op I just wouldn't use it, but I think the main reason they shouldn't add it is that they'll inevitably focus all their effort on in, and I don't really trust any developer not to do so at the expense of what actually makes the game good.

Just wait for Metro 2035 and you will be shocked :D

Not gonna lie, I'm still as excited today as I was last week for this game. Is there anything you guys hope to see make a return in this game (I.e. equipment, perks, game mechanics, etc.)?

Sadly I don't have any current gen consoles or a decent pc to actually run a game like this. Still hyped though! Means new content for alchestbreach lmao.

I wish they make better engine for this, i heared that they are going to use engine from F3

Not sure where you heard that. It hardly looks like Fallout 3. It looks like it's using a new physics engine, too.

Is it that fun? I own New Vegas but was so bored at the beginning I didn't get anywhere. But I've invested 5 days+ of my time into Skyrim so I like to think I can invest

Installed it this morning. I just barely didn't get to play it. I contemplated skipping class for it, then realized that was a dumb idea.
No matter. I'll start it today. Can't wait.

I'm pirating a copy before I buy it.

I want to see if my PC can run it well before I spend a bunch of money on it. I could do steam refund, but I don't think the 2hr limit for returns in a good enough time to be able to see if I like the game enough.

Plus I let a friend borrow my PS4 to play his copy since he doesn't have a PS4 yet.

An does anyone here think f4 should have a 2-4 maybe more multiplayer mode.

I had that discussion with some friends and we came to a agreement, that having a multiplayer mode would detract from the atmosphere of the post apocalyptic setting.

I'd be down for a co-op mode, in a similar vein to Farcry 4. Have friend jump into your game as a companion-esque character, get up to wasteland tomfoolery.
