I was browsing the board and found that this post hadn't been made yet so I chose to shed some light on it.
SMITE is a free-to-play online MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) and ARTS (action real-time strategy) game currently being developed by Hi-Rez Studios. Players choose from a large selection of playable gods, immortals and creatures from ancient mythology and join session-based arena combat. This session-based arena combat is mostly 5 players against another set of 5 players, but there are several other game modes. Each of the playable characters have their own unique abilities and fighting styles, and the goal of the game is to defeat the Titan located in the opposite team's base.

Well Shiro W. is back and with me some updates to my all but dead smite thread.
A lot has changed and and I am going to be focusing only the 3.0+, this patch completely changed the meta of smite and has proven to make the game much more dynamic in many ways.
New items have been added including and entire movement speed tree.
The balance on old items has changed how you will play a tank and how many of the basics word.
The Japanese pantheon has been added with the gods Raijin and Amaterasu, while the next god is already being added to the PTS server
any returning players will be in for a new experience and I will leave links to the patch notes and the newest cinematic trailer below.

Smite is such a fun game. my name in game is the same as here so feel free to add and invite to parties :P i main mid but ill fill usually :D ever since they introduced Susanoo in the game. its been very hit and run now a days haha. hopefully it changes soon
