H1Z1 is a survival MMO sandbox video game in development by Sony Online Entertainment. H1Z1 is currently being developed in Beta release for Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 4.
The game is set a short while after a zombie apocalypse in rural United States, in which players will have to survive against the natural elements, hordes of undead, and thousands of potentially hostile survivors through interaction, scavenging for resources, building shelters, and crafting.
As if that didn't sound amazing enough, this game will be using the Forgelight Engine which games Planet Side 2, EverQuest Next, and Landmark all use.
Early access is currently $20. The full game will be free to play. I know for a fact that Sony will make sure this game is completed unlike so many other survival games.

I've been hearing some not-so-great things about this. Mostly about in-game purchases and such. I'm a little reluctant to try it out, I'll probanly wait ubtil it's F2P, but even so I have DayZ and 7 Days To Die that cover the same bases that this one does. Just looks like another rushed project to dethrone DayZ to me.
If you've played it, is it any fun? I don't know too much about it honestly.
