(I've seen there's already a thread about TSSB, but only about helping them for their crowd funding campaign. I would this thread to focus more broadly on the game itself, your thoughts on it, etc. I hope I'm not doing any mistake by creating this thread though.)
So, maybe you have heard about this project, Touhou Super Smash Battles? It is an indie game, by FromSoySauce, which intends to mix the Super Smash Bros. genre with the Touhou cast! As a Touhou and SSB fan myself, I am really excited by this project! The main idea is to both make use of SSB and Touhou mechanics. Of course, the gameplay tends more in the direction of the SSB series, but there are some additions drawn from the Touhou mechanics like the ability to fly for a limited time, the usage of bullets and Spell Cards, etc. There are also original ideas, like air grabbing for example, which looks very interesting and opens for a very different gameplay.
As of now, there are only 7 characters confirmed: Sakuya, Reimu, Tenshi and Yuuka were planned from the beginning. Through the crowdfunding campaign, three other characters won their slot: Shinki, Tewi and Eiki. Other than that, the cast is not defined yet. For now, only Sakuya and Reimu are done, and FromSoySauce should probably start working on Tenshi soon.
So, what do you think about this? Does this look good to you? Are there any other characters you're hoping to find in this game?

Hah, sure Meiling is one of the characters that would fit the best in a fighting-type game~ I wonder if they are thinking of adding her... I mean, they say the roster is absolutly not decided, but chances are that popular characters like, say, Byakuren, or even Marisa (which has yet to be confirmed) are very likely to be added... Meiling is one of the most logical characters to be in that sort of game, so I wonder if she's part of those "it goes without saying" character~ I would really see how she would do too!
