Help im looking for a freeonline mmo to play with some friends. does anyone know of one?

Kinda depends on what you're into. I've been playing Maplestory for quite a while, and I think it's pretty fun. It has quirky and cute 2D art, open world, and a pretty fun game. Vindictus is another one that my friend and I just started playing a couple days ago. It's more bloodier, and fun if you're into "ready up before we go into that dungeon because we're not going back until we kill the boss" kind of games.

I'm playing Tera Online, it is a really cool MMO RPG (fantasy) :D
It has really nice graphism, and is really fun to play, it is (from what I've read) the first MMO RPG with "real time" fight againts monster ^^
But as >>4 said, everything depends on what type you like. :)

I'm siding with AI and saying Aura Kingdom. Its a great game, but once you get to the higher levels it really slows down though.

Try NeverWinter, WarFrame, Vindictus, or Terra.

Arche age is pretty bad you can try it. By try it I mean play for 30 minutes and throw it away

TERA is probably best F2P to go, I loved ArcheAge on KR realms, but Trion fucked it up.
Blade and Soul is pretty decent as well, the combat and combo system are really nice. That is if the fanservice doesn't bother you. (there is playBNS and CH/HK realms with english patches)
Also Black Desert just opened it's doors to OBT last month in KR, it's been REALLY good so far. RU version that should be coming in this spring, wll most likely be much more easier to access, but if you can access to KR realms, I really recommend it.

Try Aura Kingdom, it's like Sword Art Online or Alfheim Online, with magic, dual wielding, and all the sort. If that's not your taste try a MOBA game like League of Legends or Dota 2.

Theres not too many that are FTP online unfortunately, but i have to say i've been a long time League fan as well as SW:KOTOR (Knights of the old republic) after all of the numorous updates its actually quite good, originally it was a paid one but they made it FTP after a loss of so many people, but its actually shot back up (y)

Could always try Dragon Nest or Mabinogi from Nexon. As well as a menagerie of games from Aeria Games.

I'm going to add to the Aura Kingdom mob cause it really is a great game. graphics are cool, game play is good, good story too. and bonus: you can glide in the game which is pretty neat to me. another great game is Eden Eternal. the two are somewhat similar.

I would try TERA Online. I really enjoy the fights in that game and it doesn't really get boring.

Wonderland Online is also a good MMORPG in my opinion.
I recommend to play this game with some friends, though. It's not easy to level your character in this game. :P
But, it's still a great game to play!

Hmm, it's difficult, there are so many. I'm actually playing two: Metin2 and Dofus. Both are really nice, but I'm actually playing them because I don't have a powerful PC, and these two have low requirements. You can play.. TERA, AION, ArcheAge, Aura Kingdom.. Those are the best right now, i think. >.<'

I gotta side with Tera on this one. I actually just recently started playing it and it's extremely fun. The combat is really innovative for an MMO because you're doing a lot more dodging and blocking and moving around which really makes for an in depth combat system.

The Problem with Tera is that its TOO grindy. like you follow some quests and then the next one requires lvl 11 while you are say, 8! and there are nothing to kill except..crabs lol XD

Archeage is pretty good

I do recommend Mabinogi, for it has no level limit at all, but it does get to the part where you have to grind skills to advance them up.
