This game isn't new but i noticed it didn't have a thread spite all the positive reviews and just all around fun the game offers, so here goes.
Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game is a side-scrolling beat 'em up game based on the Scott Pilgrim series of Oni Press graphic novels by Bryan Lee O'Malley, tying in with the release of the film of the same name. It is published by Ubisoft and developed by Ubisoft Montreal with Ubisoft Chengdu. The game was first announced at Comic Con 2009 in July 2009.[4] It was released on PlayStation Network on August 10, 2010, and on Xbox Live Arcade on August 25, 2010.[5]
Basically like the movie and comics your goal is to defeat a league of seven evil ex's in order for Scott Pilgrim to be with the girl of his dreams Ramona Flowers, you play through levels in a classic beat'em up style, with this games retro feel and bus load of references, you and up to three others can battle your way through a variety of henchman, robots, and ninjas, punching them them into a stack of coins, with a wide range of characters from the series including Scott Pilgrim, Ramona Flowers, Wallace Wells, Knives Chau, Stephen Stills, and Kim Pine.(wallace and knives are dlc), this game was so full of references and action that i replay it every time i get the chance with afew friends. i hope you will consider trying it out for yourselves there really isn't much like it.
